June Catch Up

Good afternoon
At last I am reconnected to the website. I have been waiting for my 23 year old IT techie to complete his studies and take up membership of the new boomerang generation who return to live at home with parents.
Much has happened since my last posting.

Heather Gatt’s workshop was enjoyed by all and produced some really great creations.

Our set of Guinea postcards are now on their journey around the country as part of  “Stitching a Welcome to Athletes of the World”.

I went to view them at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield. Thanks to the hard work of colleagues they have been displayed on every level of the theatre’s public areas.
I understood it took over 7 hours to complete the task. It was a magnificent sight and a truly celebration of member’s talents and skills.
