We meet on the first Saturday of every month (except August) at The Folk Hall, New Earswick, York. (Postcode YO32 4AQ).
Our regular Saturday morning needle workshops run from 10.00 - 12.30 and are informal and friendly - just pop in. The morning is a chance to catch up socially. At the same time we run a Stitch Club for those wanting to learn or to stretch their skills.
The afternoon meeting takes place from 2.00 - 4.00(ish) with doors open from about 1:30pm and features guest speakers, national and local, from a variety of backgrounds. We also have the library open, a sales table, the speaker's work is also usually on display and workshop/dayschool bookings take place.
We also have a 'Social Stitching' meet up on the evening of the second Monday of every month at the Trafalgar Bay pub in Nunnery Lane, York. Check out our Facebook page for more details.
